Kalitsounia with Onion and Tyromalama
INGREDIENTS
For the dough
- 200 gr Extra Virgin Olive Oil Koroneiki ABEA
- 2 eggs
- 30 gr cretan raki
- 2 pinches salt
- 300 gr Milk VERO CRETAN (Goat or Cow)
- 700 gr Cretan Pie Flour MILLS OF CRETE
For the filling:
- 100 gr Extra Virgin Olive Oil Koroneiki ABEA
- 0.5 bunch dill
- 2 fresh onions
- 500 gr dry onion
- 1 fresh tomato
- 300 gr tyromalama
- salt
- pepper
- half teaspoon of cumin
For the spreading:
- 1 egg
- 50 gr sesame
IMPLEMENTATION
In the mixer we place all the ingredients for the dough and we knead until we get a soft dough. In a saucepan, we add the olive oil and we cook the onions cut into thin slices. Once they are cooked well, we pour the remaining ingredients and the chopped tomatoes, we remove them from the fire and we add the grated cheese. We roll out the dough on thin sheets and we cut with a cup of coffee. We place in the middle 2 tablespoons of the filling and we close the squares, we spread with egg and sesame using a brush and we bake at 170 ° C for 20 minutes.
