VOULGARAKIS MANOUSOS
I am 73 years old, and I grew up in the olive fields. I have been actively involved in olive cultivation since 1962, always with struggle, sweat and a strong appetite for work. I have attended an agricultural school, I am married, with three children, four grandchildren and a thousand and three hundred olive trees. The job of a farmer, especially in our village, is very difficult. The slopes are steep and work requires much labor. Back in my day there were no roads in the village and you could only access your land on foot or on a donkey.
